South African football is in mourning after the tragic passing of Jayden Adams, the talented Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana midfielder. He was just 25 years old.
A Promising Career Cut Short
Adams had recently made his World Cup debut for South Africa and played a key role in Mamelodi Sundowns’ successful CAF Champions League campaign. Just two weeks ago, he suffered the heartbreaking loss of his grandmother, Marianna Adams, but showed remarkable professionalism by featuring for Bafana Bafana in their World Cup match against Czechia.

The South African football community has been left devastated. Tributes have been pouring in from teammates, clubs, and fans across the country, remembering Adams not only for his talent on the pitch but also for his strength and character off it.
